GRANITE
A persistent modded survival environment focused on long-form progression, collaborative infrastructure, and controlled chaos.
GRANITE is the longest-running GRIMM deployment and the one most likely to consume an entire weekend without anyone noticing. The world is persistent, the modpack is curated rather than kitchen-sink, and progression is measured in infrastructure rather than in hours logged.
The operating principle is simple: build things that outlast the person who built them. Rail networks, sorting systems, power grids and district planning are collectively owned. Personal bases are not.
Standing orders
- Do not grief. This is not a philosophical position, it is an administrative one.
- Public infrastructure stays public. If you use the rail, you help maintain the rail.
- Large terrain edits get announced before they happen, not after.
- Chunk-heavy contraptions are reviewed before they are built, not after the server has an opinion about them.
Current phase
Season II opened with a full world regeneration and a rebuilt modpack. The central district is under construction and the northern rail spur is roughly half complete. Newly cleared personnel are usually put on the rail spur, on the grounds that it is difficult to ruin and easy to learn on.
