OPERATION COLDWATER — CONCLUSION

OPERATION COLDWATER is concluded effective today. Participation declined steadily from March onward and the remaining regulars were, by their own account, showing up out of obligation rather than interest.

There was no incident. Nobody was removed. The game did not do anything objectionable. It simply stopped being the thing people wanted to do on a Tuesday, and continuing to schedule it would have been an exercise in institutional pride.

Disposition

• Channel archived, read-only, retained.
• Roster folded into HARVEST and LANTERN.
• Operation record remains public at /operations/coldwater.
• Reopening requires four people who actually want it, not a vote.

A community that only publishes its successes is a community you have no way to evaluate.
